King Matthieu the Faithful

The Sword of Vigor: Choose a friendly infantry unit or beast within 2 spaces of King Matthieu. Roll the 12-sided die. Heal the unit for the number of wounds equal to the number rolled. This attack is provided by Matthieu's Sword of Vigor.
Heir: If King Matthieu dies or steps down, Prince Jalen instantly becomes King Jalen. If Prince Jalen is already dead, King Jalen cannot enter the field. If Prince Jalen has not yet been trained, then if the Maurian player trains him, he immediately becomes King Jalen.
Lion’s Roar: All ally infantry units within 6 spaces of Matthieu add a pre-rolled 1 to their attack and defense.
Ultimate Travel: King Matthieu ignores hindering terrain and may walk through lava and water, though each space of the hazardous terrains consumes 2 movement instead of 1.
Few rulers in Maurian history have been as controversial as King Matthieu D'Leon. Initially coronated as a herald to the Almighty Droren, his strict return to the pious government of the Cusped Kingdoms' legendary past drove a wedge among peasantry and nobility alike. Such policy was only injured by rumors of the king's personal proclivity towards adultery and drunkenness. This dissatisfaction, however, was quite tame in comparison to the Anakrians' hatred for him after the Crown's slow response to the crisis of the Black Summer. Now, ruling a kingdom split in two by the Anakrian Revolt and battered further by the Bloodless Rebellion, King Matthieu struggles to put all the pieces together, endeavoring to fend off the many threats to his people and live up to his legacy as a ruler of the Cusped Kingdom.
